The
perfect movie and guest to continue celebrating Israel’s 60th birthday, this
fantastic film shows us Israel through the eyes of David Rubinger, a
laureate of the Israel Prize for Photography.
Rubinger began photographing in 1947, and since then he has documented
famous leaders and exciting characters. He has been an eyewitness to the
dramatic events that occurred in Israel throughout the years.
In the film, Rubinger journeys back to the places and people he
photographed and leads viewers to a better understanding of the contemporary
Israeli reality.
Rubinger’s pictures represent his own life story, professional views and
experiences, but mainly his great love for the country and its people.
Special
Guest Appearance at all four screenings!
After each screening, Mr.
David Rubinger will be on hand to speak about Israel, photography and other matters.
Don't miss this opportunity to see and hear a living legend whose
photos have provided us with an "eyewitness" view of Israeli history for
over 60 years.
